Olga Kyriakou
Greece / Italy
Olga was born in Athens and is now based in Catania.
She brings together the passionate spirit of Greece, Sicily, and Buenos Aires in her DJ sets. A milonguera for more than ten years and a DJ for most of that time, she has developed a deep and intimate connection with the music and culture of Argentine tango. A self-declared fanatic of “El Gordo” Troilo, Olga is deeply devoted to the traditional and classical roots of Tango Argentino, which she sees as a true expression of the soul. Through her carefully crafted tandas, she invites dancers to feel and experience the real essence of tango on the dance floor.

Alyssa Quinn
West Coast
Although Alyssa was initially dragged into tango, she quickly became a convert after her first ocho cortado class. And after only a year of dancing, she became the President of the University of Oregon Argentine Tango Club. Since 2011, Alyssa has been a DJ at various festivals and marathons throughout the US and Shanghai, China. As a DJ, she strives to play accessible yet complex music that inspires dancers to connect within themselves, their partner, and their environment. Alyssa organizes a weekly practica in Portland, OR, tells an alarming number of puns, and believes the best DJ sets are built on attentive crowd reading and an excessive number of empanadas.

Georges Naasan
East Coast
Georges Naasan has been dancing tango since 2002. His journey debuted in Lebanon, at a time where there was no tango community or milongas to attend. He took classes with traveling teachers and taught what he learned at the American University of Beirut. Along with a few friends, he founded the first milonga in Beirut and ran it for a few years before he moved to the United States in 2007. He continued to develop his tango skills with various teachers that travelled to Cleveland and later to the Bay Area. In the summer of 2014, he was the recipient of the gold medal in Argentine Tango at the Gay Games.
He started DJing in 2015, and became one of the bay area’s prominent local DJs. He moved to New York City in 2019 and regularly DJs there at local milongas. He has travelled for DJing in various US cities including San Diego, LA, and New York. He was invited to DJ at the Beirut Tango Marathon (Beirut, Lebanon), Portland Tango Festival, Tucson Tango Festival, La Entraga Marathon (NYC), Tangamente (San Francisco, CA), Marathon Z (DC), Bailongo (Montreal), Austin Tango Marathon and the Thing (Portland, OR), among others. He has learned much of his tango dancing and DJing skills from various mentors that he met along his journey and to whom he is ever grateful.

Howoon Chung
West Coast
Howoon, aka DJ Loco, discovered tango in 2011 in Daejeon, South Korea, drawn instantly to its unrepeatable magic, the way no two moments are never the same. That living, breathing quality captivated him from the beginning, from the subtle shifts that surprise even in familiar songs to the harmony created through connection. On the floor, he cherishes how partners can interpret the music together or explore different layers like musicians in an orchestra, each adding nuance to a shared composition.
As a DJ, Howoon plays with the hope that dancers will encounter the magical moments that keep him dancing year after year. He devotes himself to reading the room closely, choosing the right music at the right time to invite people to the floor naturally. His foundation is the well-loved classics of the Golden Age, whose richness he believes best matches the pulse of the room, complemented by carefully chosen, rarely played recordings that add freshness and creative spark. By using well-preserved, high-quality versions of the music where every instrument can be heard clearly, he aims to give dancers the freedom to discover new possibilities in every phrase, silence, and shared step, the essence of tango’s magic he hopes to inspire. He has been invited to DJ at many of the most beloved milongas and large-scale events across South Korea and Asia, and after moving to San Francisco in 2022, he has continued sharing his inspiration with diverse communities and dancers throughout the United States.
